Where we'll meet - Our group will meet at a bar near the stadium. Your bilingual guides will introduce the context of Colombian football, the day’s match, and Atlético Nacional’s proud identity as one of the country’s most historic and successful clubs. More importantly, they’ll let you know exactly what you need to do and be aware of to be one of the lucky few to gain entry into the imposing Atanasio Girardot Stadium.

The Build-Up - Atlético Nacional’s home is one of the great landmarks of Colombian football, sitting within Medellín’s vibrant sports district and becoming even more alive on match-days. The immediate surroundings of the stadium fill with green and white, with music, street food, and supporters gathering well before kick-off. We’ll grab a buñuelo, an arepa, or a cold beer on the lively streets surrounding the stadium, mingling with the Verdolaga supporters and learning their traditions, especially the songs, chants, and matchday rituals that define the club’s atmosphere. Your guide will accompany you in reduced groups (6-8 pax) to the correct entrance gate, guiding you through the movement of the crowd and security checks, and finally into the ground.

The Match - Through the turnstiles and into the stands, the Atanasio Girardot becomes a true football cauldron when Atlético Nacional are at home. It’s a stadium built for atmosphere, with the noise rising from every section as the green-and-white crowd pushes the team forward. In the tribunes, you’ll hear nonstop chanting, drumming, and singing, with flags and banners creating an electric Verdolaga atmosphere. Your guide will keep the group together and let you know everything about Nacional’s rich history, including the triumphs, identity, and tradition that have made the club a source of pride across Medellín and Colombia.

The Come Down - The inevitable adrenaline crash after the ecstasy, streaming out of the exits and back toward the city. You’ll head directly back to the secure meeting point and your guide will assist in pointing you in the right direction to get back home safely. Don’t be surprised if you walk away humming the club’s songs and replaying the night’s big moments long after the final whistle.

Independiente Medellín

Where we'll meet - Our group will meet at a bar near the stadium. Your bilingual guides will set the scene for Colombian football, the day’s fixture, and Independiente Medellín’s identity as one of the city’s oldest and most passionate clubs. More importantly, they’ll explain exactly what you need to do and keep in mind to be among the fortunate few entering the Atanasio Girardot Stadium.

The Build-Up - Independiente Medellín’s home match atmosphere spills across the streets around the stadium well before kick-off, with red and blue colors, music, and supporters creating a lively pre-game buzz. We’ll stop for a cold drink, a street snack, or a quick local bite from vendors along the way, joining the Poderoso crowd and picking up on their rituals, chants, and matchday rhythm. Your guide will lead the group in smaller numbers (6-8 pax) to the correct entrance gate, helping you move through the crowd and security checks before stepping inside.

The Match - Once inside the Atanasio Girardot the stands build into a wall of sound as the match gets underway. It’s a proper South American setting, where the red-and-blue support drives the team forward with nonstop singing, flags, and drum-led energy. Your guide will keep the group together throughout and share the club’s story, from its deep roots in Medellín to the pride and loyalty that define the Poderoso de la Montaña.

The Come Down - The Come-Down - After the final whistle, the energy slowly fades as the crowd heads out. You’ll head directly back to the secure meeting point and your guide will assist in pointing you in the right direction to get back home safely. Don’t be surprised if you leave still hearing the chants and reliving the biggest moments of the night.
