Your matchday experience includes a bilingual expert local guide, match tickets to an Argentine football playoff game, and pre-match food and drink - the best way to experience the passion of fútbol!

We have established a minimum base price for each playoff round. Once we have confirmation of fixtures (one week beforehand) we will contact you with all available playoff options and their corresponding prices. You will then have the option to lock-in your favoured match.

2026 Final in La Plata!

Join us for the grand final of the 2026 Clausura playoffs at the Estadio Único Diego Armando Maradona in La Plata on Saturday, 12 December.
 
All aboard. We'll be making the 1 hour journey from Buenos Aires to La Plata to experience one of the biggest matches of the Argentine football calendar. Return transport will be included.

How does it work? 

1) The Argentine Primera División top division is split into two zones in the league phase. The top 8 qualifying teams from both sides play straight knockout ties in a bid to reach the grand final and become Clausura champions in 2026.

2) As the knockout ties depend on final league phase positions, the final fixtures will only be confirmed the same week of the experience date. However, due to current league performance we already know with a good degree of certainty which teams will have a home game in the last 16 and Quarter finals.

3) We work directly with the clubs in Buenos Aires to secure match tickets in advance for these high profile games. While final prices are only decided by the league and clubs at short notice, they'll set aside the tickets for us.

Playoff Information

The 2026 Torneo Clausura begins with a league phase followed by a knockout playoff. Thirty teams are divided into two zones of 15, with the top eight teams from each zone qualifying for the playoffs.

How do the playoffs work?

• Sixteen teams qualify. The eight highest-ranked teams from Zone A and the eight highest-ranked teams from Zone B advance to the round of 16.
  
• The round of 16 is cross-zone. Teams are paired according to their final positions in the league phase, with the highest-ranked qualifiers facing lower-ranked opponents from the other zone.
  
• Every tie is a single match. The round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals are all played over one match rather than two legs. If a match is level after 90 minutes, the teams play extra time followed by a penalty shootout if necessary
• The higher-ranked team hosts. In the round of 16, quarter-finals and semi-finals, the match is played at the stadium of the better-ranked team from the league phase. This means the final venue is only relevant once the complete playoff bracket has been confirmed.
• The final will be played at a neutral venue (El estadio Único Diego Armando Maradona - La Plata). With the two semi-final winners meeting in a single-match final.

Matchday Information

Meeting -  We'll meet at our "previa" location near the stadiums, to meet the guides and the rest of the group. Your bilingual guides will explain the context of Argentine football, the day’s game and the club's history. More importantly, they’ll let you know exactly what you need to do and be aware of to enjoy the day as a local fan.

Enjoy the build-up with a proper matchday experience, in some of the most authentic Argentinian neighbourhoods.

The Build-Up - Your guide will accompany you in reduced groups (up to 9 pax.) to the correct entrance gate, through the squeeze of security controls and police checkpoints, and finally into the grounds to behold the welcoming recibimientos full of shouts, cheers, fireworks, confetti and more - astonishing sights that will stay with you forever.

The Match - Your guide will keep the group together, and find a good spot among the fans, explaining the songs and describing the stadium's intricacies.

The Come-Down - At the end of each day you’ll head back to a secure spot and your guide will assist in pointing you in the right direction to get back home safely.

• Match Ticket  - your guaranteed spot in the stadium 🎟 (price and location to be confirmed with final fixtures)

• Transport - varies by stadium/team. Public transport may be included.

What you need

• National Photo ID (not a copy/screenshot).
• Very casual clothing and comfortable footwear for walking/standing (dress-down!).
• Coats/jackets for the cold/rain.
  
• You can bring your phone to take pictures.
  
• Leave your valuables at home and travel light - no handbags, make-up, power banks, water bottles, lighters, umbrellas… these will be confiscated.
• Some cash if you want to buy something extra as credit cards are not often accepted.
• Your psyched-up self, it will be incredibly intense!

Important to know

• With fixtures only confirmed for the playoffs a few days before the games, ticket prices and match times are not known in advance. Once we have this information we'll move quickly to organise the matchday experience and fully secure the tickets. We'll ask you to confirm your attendance and if there is a difference in price you can proceed or switch to another game.Standard cancellation terms apply.
  
  
• If you're selected team is knocked out, or the match date doesn't work for you, we'll offer you an alternative - Buenos Aires has more teams than any other city globally so there's always a great option. You can also ask for a refund according to our refund & exchange policy.
  
  
• Final ticket prices will be confirmed when the games are set a few days prior. Derbies and high profile games will have higher prices due to increased ticket costs.
  
  

• For some clubs, tickets are very hard to come by and are available exclusively to members, sponsors, or can only be found through various levels of re-sale. For others, tickets are available but can only be bought in-person, with local ID/bank cards, or through various other inventive ways of wasting your time. We will make sure to find tickets for you and guarantee their authenticity.
  

• The access to the stadium is filled with different controls and security checks in which police and fans get mixed up, sometimes creating tension. Our expert guides have navigated these sites dozens of times, know the ins and outs, and can anticipate and handle these situations so you don’t have to.
  

• Many football fans in Argentina are not used to seeing tourists and barely speak English. In a way, this is what makes our experience truly authentic, and we will help with Spanish so no language barriers affect your match-day.

• Many supporters will appreciate it if you show your support through your clothing, by wearing the club's merchandise like a shirt, beanie, jacket, etc. Dressing with the club colours will be fine, but if you want a jersey make sure to take a look at our store.

• Football in Argentina is an amazing subculture. Our expert guide will let you know everything you need about the context of the game, the history of the clubs, the traditional pre-game rituals, the meaning of the songs you will hear, the significance of the flags and symbols, and more.

• The chaos and unpredictability in Argentine football are what makes it uniquely beautiful, and uniquely frustrating. The League often decides fixtures at the last moment, and changes can happen late on also. If this is the case, we will let you know in advance for you to make a decision according to your availability.
