Join us in the affluent neighbourhood of Belgrano, home to the "millionaires" of River Plate. At Argentina's flagship we'll take part in the club's museum and stadium tour, with the benefit of a Pibe de Barrio Bilingual guide to add further context and translation. 

From there, we'll continue with our specially designed River Plate walking tour through the well-to-do neighbourhood of Belgrano, highlighting important historical moments for the club and paying homage to River Plate idols. Understand how River ended up in the north of the city and how that created the world's fiercest rivalry with Boca Juniors.

With Pibe de Barrio you'll have a reduced group (up to 10) and an experienced bilingual guide to make sure you get the most out of the visit to the largest stadium in Latin America.

15:10h River Plate Museum & Stadium Tour

We'll start our day at the Monumental stadium, a fitting tribute the Argentina's passion for football - River Plate have the highest average attendance of any team in the world at this state-of-the-art ground. 
We'll learn the club's history in their modernised museum and then get a proper look at the stadium including going down pitchside for a great photo. 

Your guide will add important context in the club museum and continuing out onto the famous stands and other areas of the stadium.

*Note the Monumental stadium tours run with large numbers of guests and next to no explanation in English - your guide will explain the context in English you ensuring you are given all the necessary context in the former Antonio Vespucio Liberti stadium. 

17:00h River Plate Murals & Belgrano Walking Tour 

Continuing in the lush Belgrano / Núñez neighbourhood where River's influence is still as strong as ever - it's clear this is a wealthier part of Buenos Aires, but some streets still contain murals, paintings, and statues dedicated to the "gallinas" (chickens) of River Plate.
Your guide will accompany you through the gated streets and explain how the setting matches perfectly with River's image and grandeur.

We'll finish up at another famous club, Excursionistas to remind ourselves that the local community & members are the owners of the clubs in Argentina, even if they reach the massive scale of River Plate. This creates a unique identity and connection between the teams and the neighbourhoods.
