Boca vs River. The World's most important game. The peak of football rivalry. The final boss of stadium atmospheres.

The chaos and unpredictability is what makes Argentine football special, and La Bombonera tops them all - with our help you can navigate the mayhem with none of the hassle.

Ticket types -  We have guaranteed tickets available in various sectors of La Bombonera.

They will be for:

A) The standing sections behind the goal:

The total final price for the most intense standing atmosphere is €840

  • The first installment (€440) can be made now, simply select 'Boca vs River - 1st Nov (Standing) - 1ST PAYMENT'
  • The second installment (€400) will be due the week of the game once we have tickets physically in our hands.

This allows everyone more flexibility in the very unlikely case of any cancellations/modifications. Our supplier is extremely reliable, but given the lack of an official ticketing system at Boca Juniors all tickets from all providers come through various levels of re-sale, so we want to take every possible precaution.

In the event of any changes you will be given the option of a full refund of the first payment.

B) The seated section here:

*IMPORTANT: With our seated experience, you will not be accompanied by a guide inside the stadium. We will enjoy the pre-game atmosphere together with the group and guide, and afterwards the guide will take you to the correct entrance point with detailed instructions.

Whilst our seated tickets will be in the same section, it may not always be possible to guarantee adjacent seats for the entire group. Every seated ticket at La Bombonera officially belongs to an individual club member who will have decided not to attend on that specific date. This is what makes seated tickets extremely valuable and equally difficult to source.

C) A Vip Box - Drop us a message for more specific information!

Where we'll meet -  Our group will meet in San Telmo, in the stadium surroundings. Please be prepared to arrive by 11:30AM minimum. We will send you exact information when you book, but we cannot wait for anyone arriving late to Buenos Aires.

Once everyone has arrived, your bilingual guide will explain the context of Argentina football, the day's game and Boca's history. More importantly they'll let you know exactly what you need to do and be aware of to be one of the lucky few to gain entry into the mythical Estadio Alberto J Armando.

The Build-Up - From there we’ll head to a local bar and mingle with the fans, continuing on through the pre-match party in the streets of La Boca. Chants of Dale Bo, practicing the correct wrist-flick for our agite, a beer in one hand and a choripán in the other, the perfect preparation for a day in the Bombonera.

Your guide will accompany you in reduced groups (7-9 pax.) to the correct entrance gate, through the squeeze of security controls and police checkpoints, and finally into the ground.

The match - Through the turnstiles and up the stairs - you’ll see first hand the famous saying: La Bombonera no tiembla, late, “The Bombonera doesn’t shake, it beats 💓”. Onto the terrace (Popular) behind the goals with the diehard fans to witness the sea of blue and gold, the confetti and fireworks, the trumpets and drums providing the soundtrack for match-day at this famous old ground

Your guide will keep the group together, and find a good spot among the fans, explaining the songs and describing the stadiums's intricacies.

The Come-Down - the inevitable adrenaline crash after the ecstasy, streaming out of the exits and back through La Boca towards San Telmo. Some chase the dragon in a local bar, some head to a steakhouse to savour the moment, others straight to bed to dream on… Boca vs River, the dream come true.
You’ll head back to San Telmo to a secure spot and your guide will assist in pointing you in the right direction to get back home safely

Important to know

  • For some clubs, tickets are very hard to come by and are available exclusively to members, sponsors, or can only be found through various levels of re-sale. For others, tickets are available but can only be bought in-person, with local ID/bank cards, or through various other inventive ways of wasting your time. We will make sure to find tickets for you and guarantee their authenticity.

  • The access to the stadium is filled with different controls and security checks in which police and fans get mixed up, sometimes creating tension. Our expert guides have navigated these sites dozens of times, know the ins and outs, and can anticipate and handle these situations so you don’t have to.

  • Many football fans in Argentina are not used to seeing tourists and barely speak English. In a way, this is what makes our experience truly authentic, and we will help with Spanish so no language barriers affect your match-day.

  • Many supporters will appreciate it if you show your support through your clothing, by wearing the club's merchandise like a shirt, beanie, jacket, etc. Dressing with the club colours will be fine, but if you want a jersey make sure to take a look at our store.

  • Football in Argentina is an amazing subculture. Our expert guide will let you know everything you need about the context of the game, the history of the clubs, the traditional pre-game rituals, the meaning of the songs you will hear, the significance of the flags and symbols, and more.

  • The chaos and unpredictability in Argentine football are what makes it uniquely beautiful, and uniquely frustrating. The League often decides fixtures at the last moment, and changes can happen late on also. If this is the case, we will let you know in advance for you to make a decision according to your availability.
